Privacy Policy
At EmpowerME (operated by Micky Parker Coaching, based in Queensland, Australia), your privacy matters as much to us as your progress. This policy explains what information we collect when you enquire, apply for or purchase the EmpowerME Experience, how we use it, and the rights you have over it.
1. What we collect
- Contact details: your name, email address and phone number.
- Application details: your goals, current state, motivations and any information you voluntarily share in the enquiry or application form.
- Payment information: when you pay a deposit or weekly instalment, your card details are handled directly by our payment processor (Square). We never see or store your full card number.
- Health & training info: details you share with your coach (injuries, medical conditions, training history) used strictly to program safely for you.
- Website analytics: anonymous data such as pages visited and time on site, used to improve the experience.
2. How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiry personally.
- To deliver the coaching program you've signed up for.
- To send you check-ins, weekly programming and community updates.
- Occasionally, to invite you to future EmpowerME intakes or events.
We will never sell your data, share your before-and-after photos publicly without your written consent, or add you to unrelated marketing lists.
3. Who we share information with
We only share the minimum data necessary with trusted third-party service providers:
- Square — payment processing.
- MongoDB Atlas — encrypted database hosting.
- Life Portraits and our glam team — only for the logistics of your photoshoot booking, if you attend.
4. Photos taken during the program
The empowerment photoshoot is optional in what you choose to share. We will never post your photos publicly without your specific written consent. Any use for testimonials or social proof is opt-in only, and you may withdraw that permission at any time.
5. Your rights
Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988, you have the right to:
- Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct or update it.
- Ask us to delete it (subject to legal record-keeping obligations).
- Opt out of marketing at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at micky@mpfcoaching.co or WhatsApp 0422 832 255.
6. Data security
We take reasonable steps to keep your information secure — encrypted database, HTTPS across the site, and access limited to Micky and directly involved coaching staff. No online system is perfect, but we treat your data as we'd want ours treated.
7. Cookies
This site uses minimal cookies for functionality (like remembering your form intent) and, if enabled, anonymous analytics. You can disable cookies in your browser settings without breaking the site.
8. Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, the “Last updated” date at the top will change. Material changes will be communicated to active clients directly.
